We now use the Koha system, and encourage you to open your own account at home.
You will need: Your library barcode number (username) and the last 4 digits of your patron phone number. Your password can be changed after you complete the initial sign up.
With your account you will be able to:

- Renew books from home
- Place Holds on books in our library from home
- Keep a list of books you would like to read
- Keep your private reading history
- Make purchase suggestions

In addition, we are happy to join VOKAL, the Vermont Organization of Koha Automated Libraries, which is a project of the Green Mountain Library Consortium dedicated to creating a shared catalog and Integrated Library System.
What this means to you, our patrons, is that you can get a Homecard which gives you the privilege of taking books out from, and returning them to, any of the other participating home card libraries, such as Lawrence Memorial in Bristol, Ilsley in Middlebury, Carpenter-Carse in
Hinesburg, and the Starksboro Public Library.
